MGP Working Group Spring 2013 Topic
Our working group focuses on Germany’s changing cultural identity in the era of migration, European integration, and global mediatization. This semester, we’ll be focusing on memory practices and digital media.
Our discussions will include:
— the emerging field of Digital Humanities — see, for example, the new web-accessible book Debates in the Digital Humanities
— digital archives, including the Archivio delle Memorie Migranti and the Migration Audio Archiv
— other intersections of Memory Studies and Media Studies
