The song “Fremd im eigenen Land” (translated as “Foreign in my own Country”) by the German rap group Advanced Chemistry tackles the issue of racism faced by non-white Germans. Through “Fremd im eigenen Land” the band members, who are all German citizens with ethnic backgrounds, attempted to bring to light the problems facing modern German society in light of the country’s growing diversity.
